Dubrovnik to Kotor across the border

Two hours south of Dubrovnik, at the innermost corner of its bay, lies Kotor. The last part of the drive hugs the water, with grey mountains climbing steeply from the shore.

We collect you in Dubrovnik and take you to your hotel or apartment in Kotor. The return works the same way, to Dubrovnik or directly to the airport.

Crossing into Montenegro

Because Montenegro is outside the EU, there are two checks: one as you leave Croatia and one as you enter Montenegro. On summer days the wait can stretch past an hour, mostly late in the morning, so we usually suggest setting off early.

Questions about Kotor

What documents do we need?

Each traveller, including children, needs a valid passport or ID card. An ID card is normally enough for EU citizens; anyone else should check the visa and passport rules for their nationality.

Can we stop in Perast on the way?

Yes. Ask for a short break in the enquiry, or have a look at our transfer to Budva that stops in both Perast and Kotor.
