Ston, Mali Ston and the first Pelješac cellars
An hour north of Dubrovnik, Ston marks the start of the Pelješac peninsula, home to some of Croatia's best-known red wine. This day puts the two together: walls and oysters first, vineyards after lunch.

The plan
Ston
A stretch of the walls, or a stroll past the salt pans, where salt is still raked by hand.
Mali Ston
Lunch on the waterfront, with oysters and mussels farmed in the bay in front of the restaurants.
Ponikve and Potomje
Wine villages in the heart of Pelješac. At Potomje a narrow tunnel cuts through the ridge to the Dingač slopes above the open sea.
Good to know
You pay for lunch and tastings on the day. Have a winery in mind? Name it in your enquiry and we will try to book it.
